let's document it at

a group of us came together

to wish 

Zayn Khan

Bon Voyage.

Our friend is leaving

Malaysia 

for
Shanghai.

Fair trade?

So, we arrived at 

Zayn's

 duplex

 penthouse,

punctual at 7pm,

( thanks to Karen who 

diligently drove us there )

so that we 

could have a chance to

exchange thoughts,

that may be difficult to put into words

when too many

people are around.

Quality time

 for 

2 people who are 

preoccupied

with

quality.

It can easily accommodate 
a hundred people!

As with all parties,

a generous amount of 

beverage,

easily paves the way!

Add in some 

yummy & colorful

grub,

and you're all set!

But don't forget to throw in the
young & the beautiful.
Keep the restless out!!!

Zayn's apartment was
 filled with art
 that has been
collected with a
shrewd eye
&
 hung with a
steady hand.

Before long,
everyone was
 mingling & helping themselves.
After all,
he has to empty the
wine cellar!

Zayn was 

everywhere!

That's key to a

 successful party.

The host 

MUST 

be

 totally hands on.

How does one say goodbye to a place that's been
 home
for 10 years?

Packing.

Cleaning.

Shipping.

Giving up the

 familiar.

Entering the

 unknown...

But we know he has the confidence to live

up to the multitude of 

positive challenges

that awaits in

Shanghai!

But for now,

let's me merry

& 

live in the present.

Life is sweet.
Every
 personal odyssey
is a
 private journey.
A rite of passage that's unique to all of us.

We come out & up from the undertow,

 smiling,

triumphant

& 

jubilant 

in the knowledge that

we did it ourselves.

And friends are

 important.

Our paths cross for whatever reason.

They are there to prop us up

like

some

giant pylons,

working in tandem.

Nurturing
 one another,
with no common goal in sight.
No expectations demanded.

Being
 swept away occasionally,
is
part of the fun of living
a full life.

It was no coincidence that

we were all gathered here.

Ships come & go.

Cross in the night.

But strong connections stay...

not linger.

For anything that lingers eventually

turns sour.

Life's

 full of surprises

 unopened

windows of opportunities.

Embracing them fully is a good start.

The Holy Grail

Zayn,

charming.

A decade is not something

you can easily

switch off.

Life is really

you get back what you throw.

Circumstances are 

dazzling.

Oversized.

And kindred spirits are everywhere.

And so...

my friend,

the time has come to say
